What is Intalingo?
Intalingo is a cloud platform that language service providers and organizations use to run phone (OPI) and video (VRI) interpreting, scheduled assignments, their interpreter workforce, overflow partners and billing in one place.
Instead of separate phone systems, scheduling spreadsheets and invoicing tools, a request, the interpreter who takes it and the invoice it produces are connected in one system. Organizations can run it under their own brand, on their own domain or subdomain.
Intalingo does not hire or provide interpreters. The interpreters are your own team and the partner organizations you choose: partners you already work with, or ones you find in the Intalingo partner directory.
Product
Everything an interpreting operation runs on
Seven parts of one platform. Use them together, or start with the ones you need.
How it works
How does a call reach the right interpreter?
Every on-demand request follows the same four steps, whether it starts on a phone line, a video link or a meeting.
Request
A caller dials your line and picks a language from the IVR menu, enters an access code, or joins a scheduled video, Zoom or Webex session.
Route
Intalingo offers the request to an interpreter who matches the language pair, any required or preferred expertise, and current availability.
Overflow
If your own interpreters are busy, the request goes to your partner organizations, existing partners or ones from the Intalingo directory, in the ranked order you set.
Bill
Every minute lands in a usage log, and usage turns into invoice drafts with your payment terms and per-call minimums.
